I frequently ask that my students purchase some music, observe that their instrument is in need of repair, or think that their performance could be enhanced by an accessory such as a metronome, thumb rest cushion, new reeds, or a mouthpiece pad. Please try to respond promptly to these requests.  A student trying to learn on a broken instrument or without music is at a distinct disadvantage.  I would like to suggest that you support the local merchants and do business with them if possible – remember if you don’t use them, you’ll lose them!
